Are you struggling with your Olympic lifts?  Guerrilla Fitness is introducing the first in a series of Olympic Lifting workshops.  The first Olympic lifting workshop will focus on the Hang Power Snatch.  This workshop is a pre-requisite to the upcoming Power Snatch Workshop.

Starting with the basics, you will be guided through the three “pulls” of the movement through technique work and repetition.  Emphasis will be on better movement, not weight.  Oly lifting shoes are not a pre-requisite but encouraged.  Class size is limited. Email [email protected] to sign up.

Date: Saturday October 13th

Time: 1pm – 3pm

Location:  Guerrilla Fitness Montclair

Pricing: $75 per person

Class Size: Limited to 12 people, first come first served

Due to the demand for a limited amount of spaces in the workshops, there will be NO refunds or credits issued for a missed workshop.

CLASS OUTLINE

1:00-1:15 - Warm-up

1:15-1:25 - Squat & overhead squat positioning

1:25-1:45 - Burgener warm-up deconstructed

1:45-1:55 - Learning the "3 Pulls"

1:55-2:05 - Four position snatch: top of the knee/ mid thigh/ pocket/ extension

2:05-2:15 - Mid hang snatch pull

2:15-2:25 - Scarecrow snatch

2:25-2:40 - Tall snatch

2:40-3:00 - Hang power snatch: full movement & adjustments of starting positions along the thigh
