Workout of the Day

3 Rounds where 1 round =
As many rounds as possible in 3 min of:
3 Power cleans 185/125#
3 Front squats
Then 2 minutes to complete:
10 burpees
*Time remaining is your rest between rounds

    Its never good when I have to stop everything I’m doing to re-read a WOD in the attempt of understanding it…
    Having said that, Krissy seeing your strength displayed in WODs is an honor. Your strict presses the other day were insane. My partner, Kate, asked me how much weight we would be using and I literally said “1/3 of what she’s using”. You are awesome.

    Have to agree with Jenna..just re-read this WOD about 5 times and still have no idea what it means. Maybe I’m just dumb..

    Krissy-You are one hot mama who doesn’t mess around! Such an incredible athlete and always fun to WOD with. You crack me up, especially with all your jersey sass! Keep kicking ass because you’ll be ready for the games in no time.

    For time:
    Run 1600 meters
    150 Double-unders
    50 Burpees
    Run 800 meters
    100 Double-unders
    35 Burpees
    Run 400 meters
    50 Double-unders
    20 Burpees

    Here is he e wod works. I did it today:
    3 mintes to complete as many rounds of the 3 cleans and 3 front squats as possible. as soon as 3 min is up, clock starts on a 2-min “rest” that begins with 10 burpees. If it takes 10 seconds to do 10 burpees you will have the remaining 1:50 to rest. At the end of that 2 min you start another 3 min Amrap . Then 10 burpees and rest, repeat

    Make sense.
    It’s a good wod! I can assure you!

    Did this workout last week but with Power Snatches and OHS and it is a hard one. After 3 minutes of the couplet, you have 2 minutes of rest, to which you have to complete 10 burpees. If it takes you 2 minutes to do 10 burpees you have no rest. If you smoke down 10 burpees in 20 seconds, you get 1:40 rest. Earn your rest.

    Krissy you are such an unbelievable athlete. Crossfitting throughout your pregnancy and then coming back throwing around the same weights you did before!! You truly amaze me and you’re always such an incredibly positive and motivating person to WOD with! Xoxo

    So true D!! Krissy is a total badass! Embarrasses me every single time we wod together. I was really hoping she would go a little easy after coming back from baby 2, but no – she’s already killing me, again. Keep it hot mama!

    Seriously- Krissy you are unreal! I am so inspired by you all the time- but to be more specific: your OHS done while super pregnant- so impressive, and how quickly you are back so strong and killing WODs after baby number 2- truly amazing. And of course, it’s always a pleasure to WOD with you.

    I didn’t get a chance to post yesterday, but thanks Derek for posting that video. Really incredible to see and her from Kate and her family on how CrossFit and cancer has changed their lives.

    Krissy Krissy Krissy…..if I could count how many times you smoked me in a WOD while pregnant! I remember lapping you on a WOD when you were first pregnant (and I didn’t know you were) and I was SO excited about beating you! I was almost bragging about it and then the next day you told me you were pregnant and I was just laughing/crying inside as I knew me beating you was just too good to be true;) HAHA. Besides all the badass stuff, you are so funny and bring some sass to the box!

    You guys r all awesome!! Thanks so much for the kind words and encouragement. Going from fit to pregnant and then trying to get back has been extremely challenging. Your body changes so much! However being at motown has truly been a blessing. You all are encouraging and push me every time I’m there!
    Kristen dont worry! anytime you are at a wod i am still scared! Remember you were my inspiration from the beginning…

    HOPE!

    How incredible would it be if we were top 2 gyms for HOPE???? Seriously! It’s right there within our reach!

    Any great ideas for the last push – post em! Even if you didn’t participate – post the link to the Morristown donation page to facebook!!! With 300 members sending out to friends and family, even if we got $1 from 10 friends each….we would crush it!

    Thank you everyone for your efforts already! Especially the little athletes from Friday night (the kids, not Pete) who inspire us all!!!

    Krissy- you are so inspriring! All I did was sit on my ass when I was pregnant. You are a blast to WOD with and I love the sass! Also love to have a glass of wine with you. Can’t wait to see you in the Games next year.
