GF Motown Members,
We greatly appreciate your understanding of the fact that we host Level 1 seminars and other certifications at our facility. We do realize this displaces you for two days outside the four walls of the gym. We program with this in mind and are never cheating any one of our members out of a quality workout that will challenge you and fall right in line with the rest of the months workouts.
Please know that hosting Level One seminars is something that is a contribution and energy in the CF community. Those who have been through a Level One seminar know how life changing it is and how people are impacted. The trainers who come from near and far, contribute to the energy, and level of education that we hold so high at Guerrilla Fitness. Being exposed to people who have an incredible depth of experience in coaching brings new life and value to our gym every time. Additionally, the community time our coaches get to spend with athletes and coaches like Chris Spealler who exemplify the integrity that is CrossFit, is something that they cherish.
We appreciate your flexibility and do not take it for granted. Please let us know if you would like to make a visit to Montclair - they would love to have you visit!"

A few months ago I visited a tiny, new affiliate on the other side of the Pacific. They were clearly just starting to learn how to do many of the basics. The owner said to me that Guerrilla was on a short list of places in the US that his friends recommended he visit or have his coaches attend a seminar. If you’ve ever been to a box where you thought ‘I’d hate to be a member here’ then you know what I mean.
Plus parking deck WODs include fresh air, sunshine, and a break from calluses and bruises (and therefore a break from my manicurist thinking I’m part of a fight club).
I’ve some of the best workouts on top of that parking deck! The change of scenery is welcomed for me!
