First and foremost, THANK YOU! to everyone for their support. That includes everything from putting up with my zone meals for 8 weeks (and my crazy cheats), for dealing with the mean faces I threw out during muscle up practice, and for every word of encouragement that was said along the way. Thank you to everyone who signed the amazing poster Stephanie Chiu made! And for all that made Memorial Day weekend about Regionals instead of family picnics and BBQs. Thank you for all of the texts, emails and messages on FB, as well as all of the positive thoughts being sent throughout the weekend. They were all felt and appreciated. Rare is the athlete or person who achieves great things without a team of incredible people supporting them along the way. For all of that, Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
If I could only share the most important thing I walked away with from this experience, it is that every challenge is worth taking. Although many of us have fears that hold us back from trying things that seem daunting for fear of failing, there is a good chance we will succeed! Don't let doubts or what-ifs get in the way of your potential for greatness. That is something you can apply to the smallest things in your life, to the biggest hurdles or goals. I learned so much about myself this weekend and came out knowing that all of the hard work and faith put into this effort was worth it.
Do great things!!!! Who's ready for 2013 Games season??????
